• 4/28/2012: National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day:  There will be two drop-off box locations, Jefferson County Sheriff's Office  34 Dillon Plaza, High Ridge MO  and 955 Windsor Harbor, Imperial MO.  Unused or expired prescription medications anc lead to accidental poisoning, overdose and abuse.  If they are thrown in the trash they can be retrieved and abused or illegally sold.  Unused drugs that are flushed contaminate the water supply.  proper disposal of unused drugs saves lives and protects the environment.

   

• 5/1/2012: Free bike helmet fittings  by trained staff members from St. Anthony’s Medical Center’s Emergency Department offer free bicycle helmet fittings, for both adults and children, from 4 to 6 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month, from April through Octoberat St. Anthony’s Medical Center          
  

• Saturday, May 5, 2012 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. St. Anthony’s Medical Center is serving as one of eight collection sites for donations of new and used home medical equipment from individuals and businesses. Donations will be accepted on St. Anthony’s campus, 10010 Kennerly Road.  The collection point at St. Anthony’s will be at the loading dock, which is located on the east side of the Medical Center, parallel with Tesson Ferry Road. For those entering the campus off Tesson Ferry from the south, turn left onto Schuessler Road, right on Southfork Road, then make the next immediate right (follow the sign for deliveries/dock).  Click  for more information.

• Saturday, May 12th, 2012 - Kid's Planting a Pot for Mom for Mother's Day at Stuckmeyers, Inc. (Farm, Market and Greenhouse)

        Kids will be able to decorate a pot for their Mom for Mother's Day - FREE

        Kids will get a FREE plant to put in their decorated pot Free
