Saturday 4/28/2012 is

National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day! 

There will be two drop-off box locations, Jefferson County Sheriff's Office  34 Dillon Plaza, High Ridge MO  and 955 Windsor Harbor, Imperial MO.  Unused or expired prescription medications anc lead to accidental poisoning, overdose and abuse.  If they are thrown in the trash they can be retrieved and abused or illegally sold.  Unused drugs that are flushed contaminate the water supply.  proper disposal of unused drugs saves lives and protects the environment.
